The Secrets of Radar Museum was
formed in the summer of 2001 in order to provide
a home for the materials
of the former Radome Museum of Electronics,
which was located in Vanastra, Ontario, near the
grounds
of RCAF Clinton. We are fully incorporated
as a not-for profit corporation, and operate in
London
Ontario.
We exist for the following reasons:
- To
preserve the history and artifacts of
the men and women who have served the RADAR division of
the Canadian Military.
- To educate the public on the history
of RADAR in Canada.
- To provide a theraputic setting for veterans.
One
of the first groups of Canadians to become
involved in radar were sent
directly to England for training. |
