Tours of the Museum
The Secrets
of Radar Museum welcomes group tours. For groups
of 10 or more, please book your tour in advance.
The museum is currently open to the public from
Thursday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. If you
would like to arrange a tour at another time, please
contact us at 519-691-5922.
Education Programs
We welcome school groups to the Museum from Tuesday
to Friday. Our curriculum-based programs are suitable
for Grades 6 to 12, and are applicable to most
history, science, and technology courses.
All programs can be adapted to fit the needs of
your class and include pre- and post-visit classroom
materials.
Off-site talks for
community groups and school classes are also available.

the Secret: Radar Then & Now
Grades 6 to 8
Can you keep a secret? Nearly 6000 Canadian men and
women who worked on radar during World War II kept
their secrets for 50 years! Learn about the history
of radar and the role Canada played in its development.
Technology and history unite during this program
through hands-on projects, displays, and activities,
as we learn about how a technology that helped to
win the Battle of Britain still affects us every
day.
Cost: $2.00 per student

the Silence: Radar During WWII
Grades 9 to 12
This program is designed to introduce students
to the important role that Canada played in the
development and operation of radar during WWII.
Participate and share in the incredible story of
our Canadian veterans through hands-on and interactive
exhibits and activities, and learn how the significance
of this wartime technology remains important in
contemporary Canadian society. This program can
be adapted to fit various grade levels and course
content.
Cost: $2.00 per student
